The words "Liberal" and "Conservative" should only describe how a politician seeks to spend other people's money- liberally or conservatively.

Welcome to The Academy for the Constitutionally Challenged. Be sure to read the (mostly) daily rant in Whataloadacrap, weekly market commentary from The Sovereign Strategist, or check out some of the Articles of Consideration below.

Articles of Consideration:

The Middle East In the Muslim world, the times they are a changin' (02/28/05)
In case you haven't noticed, the Muslim world is in the midst of a far-reaching change. From Afghanistan's fledgling democracy to Iraq's constitutional convention, potential Palestinian statehood, clamoring for regime change in Iran, and sham elections in Saudi Arabia, the transformation is beginning to seem incessant. And recent events are adding to the mix. The changes in Egypt's election law ordered by President Hosni Mubarak and yesterday's step-down of the Lebanese government are the two most recent examples.

Iraq Votes Iraqi election results are in (02/13/05)
The United Iraqi Alliance ticket, which had Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani's support, garnered the most votes- about 48 percent. The Kurdistan Alliance came in second with about 26 percent, and the list headed by soon to be ex-interim prime minister Allawi got only 14 percent. The other 12 percent went to minor parties.

Money Something for everyone! (02/03/05)
Not only will national security strategists be happy with less dependence on foreign energy in an increasingly interdependent world, hippies will frolic freely in the land of environmentally responsible energy, and the home of the brave.

George W. Bush Full Text: George Dubya Bush 2005 State of the Union Address (02/02/05)
The president comments for about an hour on the State of the Union... and there's something for everyone!

Praying Hands Democrats look to religious leader for help (01/17/05)
They don't want their souls saved, they want help in winning elections. In today's edition, The New York Times reports, "Democrats, reeling from the Republicans' success at courting churchgoers, are focusing new attention on a religious and political anomaly: Jim Wallis, one of the few prominent left-leaning leaders among evangelical Protestants."

Bad Santa God has gone too far (12/19/04)
"In Wichita, Kansas, a local newspaper ran an apology after referring to a 'Christmas tree', rather than a 'community tree' at the city's Winterfest celebration." In Massachusetts, "a mayor ... issued a formal apology to anyone offended by a press release that mistakenly described the town of Somerville's holiday party as a 'Christmas party.'" Skull-caps, veils for girls, and a lowercase 't' made of gold. Trees with lights. Music void of lyrics. Tiny Tim. A cake. Rudolph the Red-nosed Cokesniffer. Tiny crippled little paraplegic Tim! What is everyone so afraid of?
